I am a young student willing to discover new countries and meet people all around the world ! I am currently living in southern France, but I am about to study physics in London from late Septembre 2018 at UCL. I love science and arts, and sharing cultural experiences ! I enjoy both strolling through busy cities and sitting in front of magnificent and still landscapes. I love walking in art galleries, spending time in theatres and cinemas, and speaking with people who are willing to make me discover their country or their town/city !

My musical tastes cover quite a wide range, including baroque music (Bach, Rameau, Couperin, Scarlatti...), romantic music (Chopin, Schubert, Schumann...), impressionist music (Ravel and Debussy), contemporary music (Messiaen, Penderecki...), jazz (Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Bill Evans...), rock (The Beatles, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, MBV, Slowdive, Radiohead, Arcade Fire...)...

I am an aspiring writer. I mostly write poetry in prose ! Literature fascinates me, and I am able to read in both French in English (I am also learning Spanish and Portuguese).

Cinema is another passion of mine. Filmmakers who fascinate me include Andrei Tarkovski, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick and Martin Scorsese.

I love History of Art. My favourite painters are from the Renaissance (Leonardo Da Vinci, van Eyck, Botticelli, Tintoretto), the Baroque period (Caravaggio, Vermeer, Rembrandt...), the romantic period (especially William Turner and Eugène Delacroix) and the late 19th century (Monet, Manet, Cézanne...). I also love modern art from the early 20th century !

I want to meet interesting people who are willing to speak about their country, arts or science. In my opinion, Couchsurfing is a wonderful way to travel, creating links between people from different backgrounds !
