I think I'm somehow a cross between a typical millennial traveling vagabond and a middle-aged housewife from the fifties. On one hand, I love going to new places, preferably by outdated means of transportation, eg. walking, cycling, tall ship sailing, and mushing (although the last I am new to and have not used it to travel long distances). On the other hand, part of me just wants to bake cookies all day, and get my kitchen set up just so.
I've mostly sailed on the Great Lakes, but also up and down the east coast trying to catch a girl (I got her ;). I've also hitchhiked around Iceland and cycled through Southern California and into the Sierras. Apparently, on both occasions, I was trying to see just how hungry I could make myself.
