About Me

Hi,
My name is Hamza (I prefer this one but it is ok if you want to call me Hayati), I was an erasmus student in Spain. I study computer engineering. I am 22 years old, I was born and raised in İstanbul. I was always interested in technology, so hopefully I will do what I like as a job. I enjoy to do things with other people because I enjoy the talk we have more than what we do most of the time.
I like to watch movies, play games, travel, sports. But almost everything is better when you have someone with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With erasmus I have met lots of different people from different countries and i realized how much i like to talk and learn about new cultures. I think one of the best way to learn culture is meeting some local people from that area.
And couchsurfing gives me an opportunity to meet local people and share whatever we want to. That is why I am in couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock music in general but i listen to any kind of song that sounds nice to me. You can see which musics are my favourite ones by checking my spotify playlists, if you want to have really detailed information.

I used to watch movies just to spend time but since last year i started watch movies from IMDB top 250 and i am trying to see how people explain ideas by shooting movies.

My favorite movies are:

Hot fuzz
Pianist
Prestige
American History X
Captain Fantastic
Mandariniid
City of God
and i really enjoyed Deadpool too.

About books, i usually read turkish books from turkish authors. So my favorite book is also a turkish book which is "Esrarname". As classic books I can tell I really enjoyed "les miserables" too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing is such a strong word. There are things I am proud of, there are crazy things i did, there are things that i did as a mistake but ended up hilarious.
But I can tell erasmus is pretty nice experience of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Lately i got interested in card tricks, which i have really cool some of them. I can perform card tricks first then i can show its done.

I really like to talk about how we live and our traditionals. So I can share fun facts, and i can teach fun words in Turkish which you can use to Turkish people and it will make them laugh.

I am ok to learn different things. I believe we have a lot that we dont know in world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share ideas, cultures, fun facts, card tricks, whatever they like and they ask.

Countries I’ve Visited
