Hey everyone!
FIRST OF ALL: I know, I am new here and don't have any references. But that doesn't automatically mean that I'll be impolite or steal something from you. Please don't judge me because of that. Everyone has to start at some certain point!

My name is Lilly, I am 19 years old and I am a curious and world-hungry person from beautiful Pirna near Dresden in Germany.
I guess I'm quite young and mostly busy with finding what I am supposed to be or to do in this world. I could maybe describe myself as tryer of everything without a real plan but still having visions and step by step it looks a little less like a big question mark in my head. But there's still a lot of work to do and staying in my little German town, I could never solve it. That's why I'm craving for this world to be my experienced teacher.

I love making and listening to music and pretty much all kinds of dance as well as theatre and good food. That sounds cheesy, but you can really make me happy just by jamming whatever kind of music together. My special passions are cello and guitar, but I also love great brass sounds and piano music gives me a crazy peace of mind.
We could also just chat about dance seeing that I've been dancing for the most of my life until now.
As well I always appreciate experiencing new food and if cooking for myself, I do it meatless. But I can find an interesting aspect in basically all things and dishes so that I'll always be pleased to try something made by you if you want.
Theatre is a special part of my life, I'll go there as often as I can and I plan it to turn into a profession one day.
What's more is that I love languages and getting in touch with them! I would really love to broaden my knowledge by speaking in Spanish and Turkish as well one day! Or Arabic!
I love good conversations, surprising stories and laughing with someone, but I'm very good at listening and I always feel enriched by others people's thoughts of whatever kind.
I'm not sure of being able to enrich yours, but I'll always try.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't have any real Couchsurfing experience yet, but I already feel extremely motivated and interested by all the profile descriptions I read.
I'd just love to meet new people I'd never had expected to meet!
To share, to laugh, to cook, to sing and jam together. To read, to visit, to exchange and enrich.
I've already lived with a French and an Italian family and I am so sure, that every single exchange and contact with another person gives you something really big and we all leave traces in the others' lives.
And that's kind of the sense of living isn't it?
Meeting, learning and growing with each other.
I think this is pretty amazing.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I already told, nothing else has an access that easily intense and deep into my inner me such as music.
I love so many kinds and artists.
There's the colourful mixture containing Marian Hill, Izzy Bizu, Dodie, Halsey, RY X and Coldplay for example who I really like.
I also have a big crush on 70s and 80s music like Phil Collins, Sade, Madonna, Sting, George Michael, Eurythmics or Queen. German stuff like Kraftklub, Enno Bunger, Mine or Michael Schulte. Or wonderful latin american music giving you this amazing mood like Buena Vista Social Club. But I can pretty much listen to everything! Jazz, Orchestral stuff, Indie, A -Capella, Rock, Pop and Electro.

I love movies, but I don't have a favourite one.
I really adore "La vie d'Adèle" as well as "Victoria" and I am always trying to get to know new ones as I haven't watched enough at all in my life so far. So feel free to recommend me something!

And I should absolutely read more. Books are fantastic. Let's make this a new future project...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I think the most amazing things are still to come and I don't like separating my life into good parts and bad parts. But the future's looking great!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty much into baking, so I'd be pleased to enjoy some typical pastry while staying with you!
If you want to, I can also share my experience in cooking and eating meat and diaryless with you, what means entering the world of surprisingly good vegan recipes and savoury dishes!
If not, I'd love to learn some of your language and I could talk to you in German!
We could make some music together teaching each others' instruments!

When it comes to me, I must say that I travel around to absorb culture and lifestyle, so if you can show me anything new - may it be a dish, a song, a dialect, a place or a story- thank you for sharing it with me!
