About Me

I'm a pretty easygoing guy. I like to meet new people and share experiences. I'm into languages, video games, cooking, dancing, anime, outdoor activities, reading...well, I enjoy doing different kinds of activities. It's my first time in the States and actually abroad, so I would really appreciate some help. In exchange, I could teach you some of the languages I speak, help with the cooking if necessary and also be a host whenever you visit Colombia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join couchsurfing because some people I know have tried it and they have had such an amazing experience. My budget is a bit limited, so I could use some help to be able to visit as many places as possible. Besides what's mentioned above, I also would like to host someone in my country and show them around.

Music, Movies, and Books

I basically listen to all kind of music, but I would say that I prefer rock, electronic, folk from Colombia and salsa. Movies? There are plenty...there's the Internship, Seven, Marvel's, A lot like love, le coeur en braille (French film). When it comes down to books, a good thriller is always my first choice (The Shining for instance), but I also like novels (The spy), romance (Paris siempre es una buena idea), drama (Mariposas verdes) and even comedies (Comment papa est devenu danseuse étoile).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once joined a foundation to help children with mental disorders and other disabilities (I did it for over a year). I stoppped, I guess because of the lack of time I have now.

Teach, Learn, Share

Colombia is not the violent country many people might think it is. People are pretty open-minded, warm and helpful, just ask locals who have come here. They will tell you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a great conversationalist, a good listener (I like to learn from others) and I'm not loud at all, so you won't worry about me waking you up early in the morning or keeping you up all night (I don't even snore...as long as I recall).

Countries I’ve Lived In
