Hello, I'm students of NTUT, and my name is Shung kai.
I live in Taiwan since I was born, but I don’t think I know enough about it, so I must learn more about the islands and oceans where I live.

I like photography, design, marketing, chemistry, medical knowledge, mobile game, cooking, reading, and I am passionate about psychology, sociology, education, vegetation, traditional Chinese medicine.
I consider myself I am a very social human being who loves to make yummy food for people and share thoughts, opinions, and experiences.
I’m just a simple person. my goal is to secure my future while enjoying and living the present to the fullest. I only live once so I do things that would make me happy for as long as it doesn’t compromise anybody.
I consider myself as an open-minded boy who wants to explore as many things as I can! I need to be alone sometimes but I enjoy having fun with friend and people as well. I'm kind of quiet in the beginning but once I feel more comfortable. I will more talkative.

I don't like to wait until something be changed, so as a student, I travel to somewhere during my free time.
I like people with depth, who speak with open-mind with respect to all business

PHILOSOPHY
1. To grow. You must be willing to let your present and future be totally unlike your past. Your history is not your destiny.
2. There’s so much to learn in life and the key is to step outside of one’s comfort zone and open-minded.
3. You may not be able to anything the length of your life ;you can definitely do something about its width and depth.
4. Do it when you feel like doing it.
5. We think too much and feel too little.
6. A good book is light to soul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think only through the conversation and interaction with people who are really in different culture background will start to understand myself more.
I hope to meet many different kinds of people, to listen to other people's stories and know them, and I like to share my own stories with others, let them know about me.
Listen to someone else's story. It seems that I also experience his story.
Also, help my English homework.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very eclectic taste in music. I can enjoy most type of music, such as pop, classical, rock, dance, hip hop and EDM. I don't have a category of the most love kinds of music, it always depends on the artist.

I like any book that touches my heart in my life and good stories, weather it be fantasy, sci-fi or other, and reading it while listening to music.

I like outdoor activities but don’t really keen to be exposed under the hot sun in long period of time.
I believe this is the best way to experience the true side of the country is trying local food and drinks everywhere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participate in out-of-school related human rights NGOs, especially LGBT+ pride and student unions on campus.

Never be afraid to try something new because life gets boring when you stay within the limits of what you already know.
