I’m a dreamer and even though my dreams are sometimes a bit unrealistic, I do my very best to make them a reality. I am a 20 year old girl from the Netherlands, who loves to draw, drink coffee, travel, walk, explore and meet people! Every opportunity I get I try to go away and visit places I haven’t been to before. Try to avoid staying in my comfort zone. Last year I got the opportunity to move to New York City and become an au-pair for this great family in Brooklyn. I decided to apply for the position and they apparently really wanted me to become their au-pair too! I am very grateful for that year and I absolutely loved every moment of it. But unfortunately I still needed to go to school. The first time I applied for art school I got rejected, but if it wasn’t for that I would not have gone to New York, however this time, I did get in! So currently I am studying Illustration and Animation at the AKV St Joost in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. But I still try to go to places as much as I can. I’d love to have a creative career in the Animation Movie industry and maybe some day end up at Disney or Pixar! Few of my many dreams are: I would love to buy a van one day, renovate it and live the Van Life and travel through Europe! Also I’d love to publish an Illustrated book. Work for Disney or Pixar, in Visual Development. Or maybe even make my own film! I try to be as happy and optimistic as I can!
