About Me
Love to travel, but feels overstated publishing it here!
Love history and learning about other cultures, meeting people. The more we know about each other, the more we learn that the differences are minimal.
Love going to museums and old sites. Love the arts. I am an artist myself, but never do a single thing all my life. I am into writing now.
I love nature. I am not big into hiking (which means, I am slow), but if I hear that there is something amazing at the end of the hike, I will go for it!
Sometimes I travel by myself, sometimes with friends, other times with family. All is good, as long as I am on the road! Once I vacationed with my dog, and now I am vacationing with my kid. I am glad I have family and friends that can take care of both if there are not with me.
I have done all kinds of traveling from 5 stars hotels to hostels. Whatever feels right for the trip. I would like to keep on traveling, till I can't no more and earn the title of citizen of the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be honest, I heard about this app from my other traveling friends, and they spoke highly of it.
I am traveling to Russia for the world cup, part of it by myself and part with my family, so I thought this service should fit this trip and who knows, I might use it after Russia. I wish I would have known about it when I went to Iceland as I was a solo traveler.
I am also moving to Oslo, Norway for 9 weeks, and CouchSurfing would be a great medium to meet people.
I am always open to new things and experiences, and CouchSurfing is definitely something new on things to do in my list.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now I am into Bachata dancing/music. I love the remixes. Pretty much any song out there has been made into a bachata remix, so I rather listen to that version. Beyonce bachata anyone? or maybe Imagine Dragons? if that is more your cup of tea.
I am reading, One Hundred Years of Solitud by Gabriel Garcia Marquez in Spanish. This book is long overdue in my list of books to read. I belong to a book club, but sometimes, I just gotta do my own thang.
Movies, it is hard to pick my favorite one. I studied Television and Film in college. Shamefully enough I won't pick a classic. I love Terminator 2. I was impressed by the newly effects, that took 6 months to render, and the plot. Also a movie to take a good look at is Back to the Future, the script pitch must've been amazing!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Actually two:
Tandem skydiving in Hawaii.
Hiked Cerro Chato in Costa Rica.
