About Me

I started traveling from 5 years old. With my two sisters, we were fortunate enough to have a mother who worked at Royal Air Maroc, the Moroccan airline, which allowed us to make the plane cheaper. Thus, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, the United States, Brazil are among the countries visited early in my life. Then, I lived 8 years in Toulouse in France, where I did my university studies until mastery. I had a Francophonie scholarship to continue my doctoral studies in Montreal in language sciences. I stopped my doctorate because my left brain was drying up. I made children ... and books. One of my books, "Bread Knives Pierce Breasts Like Nothing", has been awarded the Quebec Emerging Writers' Scholarship. In 2014, I graduated as a therapist specializing in human relations. Since 2015, I have been working with my main partner on www.meetual.com, our start-up that makes accessible and affordable the services of psychologists who are members of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. Our psychologists offer in our platform psychotherapy sessions by chat and video. Apart from the job, with my husband, we went to Laos, California (roadtrip), Morocco (roadtrip), Mexico, (farniente), Lac Champlain (sailboat trips), France (Paris, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Landes coast and Basque coast). We have an apartment in the beautiful village of Pennautier, 5 minutes from Carcassonne. Roadtriping all by myself was a big first in April 2018, something I was dreaming about it since my teenage years. And here comes the second one! I am so grateful and willing to give back till my last breathe. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why Couchsurfing? Because I love my city, Montreal, and it's a real pleasure for me to share my favorite spots. In addition, I live in a well located apartment from which it is easy to visit the city or to leave for other regions of Quebec. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet likeminded people around the world who like to share their home and their region of the world. Hospitality is a cherished value of mine. As well connecting with people from all over the world. I'm planning to travel more by myself. I you can be of any help, if you want to taste morrocan food, get your spices ready (cumin, paprika, saffron), coriander, garlic or onion would certainly help.
