Hey! I’m Yuxuan, an open-minded and kind guy who loves traveling around the world, making friends with people from different cultural backgrounds, and exploring new things.
I'm originally from Chengdu, China, which is famous for pandas and spicy food :) My friends actually say that I live like a panda as well lol Currently I'm studying Data Science & AI in the Netherlands and using my spare time to travel around Europe.
I’m looking forward to exploring new places and getting good memories. During traveling, I’m not quite interested in just visiting touristy places, but more in the local people and different experiences in a variety of cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was first introduced to the idea of CouchSurfing by Internet reviews when I was 20, and lucky enough to get some really cool experiences while traveling in Germany and Asia.
I really like the idea that CS helps travelers to get to know new interesting local people and learn from each other, get to know the outside world. People and stories are the most important memories during a trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling around Europe and Asia all by myself when I was 20. I spent the whole summer on the road, traveling to cities where I knew no one and making friends, didn't speak the language (I do now!), sleeping on the couch or on public transportation, spending money that I have earned from part-time jobs...truly unforgettable memories of my life.
