About Me

This is the first time that I will use couch surfing. When I am travelling I always stay in hostels, and that is fine, but I being listening that stay with locals at there home is better, and I started to think that yes, It have to be better if what you are looking for is to understand the history, culture and present moment of that country. I decided to give it a try. I retire from profesional basketball twenty years ago and became a backpacker. Few years later I started to stay at home and studied to be a basketball coach but I never work as one. I became a journalist and also I had published six books. Other thing that I am involved seriously is Vipasana in the traditio of Sayagi Uba Kin, teach by Goenkaji. And now I am planning to travel Canada, Alaska, Japan and Australia. I have seven month to do it, wich is enough time. I don ´t like to travel fast.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I am travelling one of the main things that I like to do is meet local people, and couchsurfing is giving me the oportunity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling in Africa was amazing. China and Buthan were incredible too. I did it from September 2013 to October 2014.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I have to choose, I prefered listening to speaking. Thats the way to learn. And I do prefered to learn from people than from screens.

Comunication, I think is one of the most valuable things to share. Good comunication.
