It is my first time travelling abroad alone as well as my first time couch surfing.

I’ve been travelling since April, started off with three weeks in Indonesia and three weeks in Hong Kong volunteering and now in Japan. It has been an incredible experience so far and I am looking forward to meeting more locals and learning more about the culture.

My friends have always recommended Couchsurfing and how they’ve met incredible people around the world by doing so. I thought I’d give it a shot since, I mean, how often do you get to travel the world and stay with the locals?
