About Me
Hello lovely people out there,
I'm Lucas and I just finished my studies in germany. Looking forward, my adventures heart and my ambitious mind came to a consens that it would be amazing to continue with a master in Bangkok! As my studies start in August, I'd have plenty of time now for recreational use and would love to see as much of Thailand and it's surroundings as possible!
The reality, however, is that in between my plans to live in a monastery and work in a refugee camp that hosts displaced people from the civil war in Myanmar only little time remains to truly travel... but I'm sure I can make the limited time count when I meet the right people on the way✌️
Thanks for reading this far, I hope you find it appealing and we see each other soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a political student I appreciate many different cultural perspectives, that's why I love to offer my couch to guests from the whole world (even though none of them bothered to leave a reference) and also I enjoy having access to locals when I'm on one of my many journeys myself.
Further, I totally embrace this non-capitalist, collectivistic approach towards traveling where one hand washes the other! I feel when done right, everyone is a winner with couchsurfing, and this is beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2024 I did my first a bit longer (9 days) sailing trip, and the experience to just travel with the winds with a handful of beloved friends was breathtaking! The Baltic sea was quite harch to us, and rainy weather and 3 meter waves really made it an adventure! But in the end it reminded me that yes, solo traveling is an amazing experience! - but nothing compares to the friendships you make along the way❤️
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a bit of a night owl and my phylosophical side finds most inspiration after 9pm, but besides that I'm a clean and trustworthy guest: I don't snore, clean my dishes and obediently follow the rules of the house. I'm also very flexible as a person, and even more so as a travelor, so if your plans are changing so can mine. There's allways a solution😇
