I'm a chilean traveller, looking for some time to nourish myself and be surprised by the world around me. I'm discovering new countries, lifestyles, cultures and people. I think that behind this there might be a deep sociological personal study.
I'm a very contemplative person, I love to stare at nature, its sounds, and I'm a passionate bird watcher, I carry around my binoculars and a Bird's Field Guide.
I'm also a very active person, love to ride a bike wherever I can, walking for hours and I usually find myself managing to arrange various activities throughout the day, specially catching up with friends, having some beers or wine.
Music makes me vibrate from the inside, so I love watching live music and of course, singing it and dancing it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a different way of travelling, the best way of knowing some place is being with local people, that's the real side of anywere.
I firmly believe in colaboration as a better and more sustainable economic system. In Chile we have a way of saying: "Today for you, tomorrow for me". I Think we can build better societies if we help each other according to our special needs, building local and real networks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love learning new things and expand my influences. I mostly listen to Rock, Funk, Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz, Latin American Music, and whatever can be in between.

I deeply enjoy watching movies but I usually forget what they are about if I don't discuss them with somebody else or if I don't watch them more than once. That's why I love talking about movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Take my backpack and leave my country and comfort behind, in search for new experiences and to see another face (and faces) of the world I live in.
I've done some amazing mountain hikings as well, where you can get lost in the forests or hear the silence and have a 360 view.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always keen to give a hand in whatever I can, specially fixing and building things. I work from intuition, so whatever I can teach, that's my method :)
