Hi, I’m Oliver, 27 years old, and currently beginning my dream adventure on a Working Holiday in New Zealand. I arrived in November 2025, so I’m still brand new here but I’m already falling in love with the culture, the nature, and the warm, open people.

I’m a huge Lord of the Rings fan, and one of my biggest dreams has always been to explore Middle-earth in real life. Visiting the filming locations and discovering the landscapes behind the movies is something I’m incredibly excited about.

Back home, I worked as a wedding photographer, so I always travel with a curious eye and a camera in my hand. New Zealand is the perfect place for someone who loves nature, light, and adventure.

I’m hoping to experience a bit of vanlife during my stay, meet inspiring people, maybe find travel buddies, and enjoy unforgettable adventures, whether it’s hiking, sharing stories, exploring new places, or just enjoying a relaxed evening together. I’m very open-minded, easygoing, empathetic, and I genuinely enjoy connecting with new people.

I can’t wait to make the most of the Kiwi summer and create beautiful memories along the way.

My favourite movies are Star Wars, Harry Potter and Back to the Future. I also love watching series on Netflix such as Riverdale and Prison Break.

I love reading books such as Divergent, The Hobbit and Tributes of Panem.

I have hiked on by 18th Birthday at Edale National Park. It was an amazing experience and i had so much fun!

Since 2001 I have moved to Germany from England. I was raised bilingual in englisch and german. Therefore I grew up with two differnt cultures which enabled to have a more diverse perspective on life. I can especially teach you German language skills and if you also like some basic Spanisch skills.

My passion is for outdoor adventures. Therefore, I have learned survival skills by going outdoors with friends and family.

I also love cooking and exploring new dishes and trying out new recipes.
