I’ve travelled nearly the whole United States by car, mostly backroads and no highways. I had a cabin in Washington state for many years and I cooked professionally for 16 years, but it didn’t allow me to be out in the sun or see much of the country. I am on a mission to see what wonders this country has. I always take the road less travelled. I love good food, good people, and seeing places I will never forget. I read nonfiction every day to stay educated and keep my mind fresh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couchsurfing to travel and meet new people and see new places. I usually stay at campsites while traveling but that limits me to rural destinations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a ton of educational material every day so my brain doesn’t go to mush. I listen to a lot of different music while I’ve road tripped around the U.S. , lately I’ve been listening to The Steeldrivers. I like watching old black and white noir detective movies, older science fiction, but anything with a good story or mind blowing imagery is good.
