Overview
About Me
Hello, my name is Vania, I am Mexican and I am studying political science, I love meeting people from other countries because in this way I can know a little of their music, culture and even their way of life. I like to travel a lot, I believe that each trip is an adventure, an opportunity to know another part of the world and to understand its reality. In Mexico, the feminist movement has been increasing due to the terrible violence that exists in the country. That's why, I consider myself a feminist who every day tries to fight against injustice and in favor of equity. I think that weaving networks with women is always going to be a way to give us strength. I love Europe because I feel free and safe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel, lately I've done it alone, I think that even though as women we are more vulnerable to certain types of violence, we must fight because every day we are more free, to travel with tranquility and know the world we want. I am in Couchsurfing because I believe that the best way to know a country and travel is through the people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is ska, reggae, reggaeton and some pop. My favorite singers are Ed Sheeran and Shakira. I really love to dance reggaeton and Latin music.
I don't have a specific movie, I love Harry Potter and most of the Brad Pit's and Gael García's movies.
I've many favorites books, one is "One Hundred Years os Solitude" by García Márquez, I love Pablo Neruda's poems, I like "The Prince" by Maquiavelo, also Hobbes and Rousseau books. For me, Marx was one of the best writers in all the world. Also, I like literature by Jane Austen. I love romantic novels like "Cyrano de Bergerac " by Edmund Rostand, and, of course, I love Shakespeare.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love help people, for me the social activism is necessary, in Mexico there was a heavy earthcuake last September, many people died, many houses collapsed. But we Mexicans went out and helped from the first hour, many people joined us and we were the ones who rescued people and we picked up the rubble. I believe that those types of attitudes are what determine us.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want I can teach you some Spanish, and you can always ask me anything about Mexico. I'll never be offended.
Also, mexican food is really tasty and I cook very nice. It's a pleasure to share food or drinks of my country with every person who wants to do it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
