Hey everyone 😀

My name is Paul and I'm a teacher from Ireland. I am only recently signed up to couchsurfing on the back of advice from my friend, she is travelling in south America and told me about couchsurfing and it sounds great 😀 I am pretty easygoing and I love meeting and making new friends from all over the world hosting or hanging out. I love to hear different perspectives and stories from people as I think we all do. I have travelled to and backpacked over 60 countries, and volunteered and worked abroad.

I am currently backpacking around Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro from June 11th to the middle of August and would love to meet local people along the way.

I have many interests. I love to listen to music, read books, I play sport regularly in Ireland, a sport called Hurling mostly. I love nature and the marine especially. I also have a good interested and knowledge of history and politics. I volunteer when I can and I like helping others! Happy couchsurfing
