I am looking for a more unique and interpersonal traveling experience. I love meeting new people and sharing knowledge and ideas. The world has so much to offer and I'm eager to experience it first hand. I am passionate about healing arts and herbal medicines. Currently I am considering pursuing a degree in accupuncture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason I joined Couchsurfing is because I love traveling however, I do not have a lot of money. If it weren't for college I'd honestly just be a nomad. Aside from the cost benefits, having the opportunity to meet people around world and make new friends is priceless!

Interests

Right now I am pursuing a degree in biology. My passions include practically everything that is associated with the environment. Ultimately, my goal is to become an ornithologist (bird scientist) however, I'd like to participate in conservation and habitat restoration as well. I'm also highly interested in western and eastern herbalism. Earlier this year my boyfriend and I assisted my grandfather with overcoming chemo therapy for prostate cancer utilizing stinging nettle, milk thistle, as well as various medicinal mushrooms. He was released two months early from chemo and had an amazing recovery! I will be going to school for herbalism in addition to my biology curriculum later this year to continue pursuing my passion.

Teach: I'd love to teach the world about herbal medicine.

Learn: Please share everything and anything with me! I'm open to gaining knowledge on practically every subject. At this moment in time I am particularly interested in anything involving herbal medicine and gardening.

Share: I will be making tons of herbal products starting this summer. This will include skin care and general health tonics such as medicinal mushroom extracts.
