Easy going Danish author, living in Berlin since 2005. I offer simple accommodation relatively close to Potsdamer Platz.
A normal day for me looks like this: I get up in the morning, work at the computer till 3 or 4 pm, then I read in a book (fiction or non fiction), or 2 or 3 books, not at the same time, though, then I go out with friends, and may be we'll go to the cinema (I prefer odd, old movies in the cinematheque at Potsdamer Platz).
My weekends I like to spend hiking in the beautiful area around Berlin.
I often go to Copenhagen to visit family and friends and in order to stay in contact with customers.

(I like football, and during the world cup I'm definitely going to watch a game or two at some café or may be at home. Join if you want.)

Recently, I was in Albania. I stayed at hotels – and found it boring. Basically, that's why I'm here, at this platform: I like meeting new, interesting people.

MUSIC: Everything, I guess. But I can't listen to for instance Public Enemy the whole day, then I need some Bach. Which goes for Bach as well: can't listen to the fella all day, then I need some Public Enemy. Or Keith Jarrett, or .. (I do not have a stereo, only a small (old GDR) radio, which is probably quite telling; I like music, but rarely listen to it.)
MOVIES: Like I already mentioned in my profile text: I like odd, old movies. Like Pasolini, Tarkowsky, Truffaut .. When it comes to classical Hollywood movies, I have a faible for Spielberg!
LITERATURE: I like new, German literature when it comes to fiction. Non fiction: I often need to read about history due to my work. Which I find very luxurious.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In year 1990 I climbed the smallest of the three pyramids in Giza outside Cairo. Mykerinos', it's called. (It's very small compared to the two big ones.) It was in the middle of the night, and I was alone. I just wanted to see the sun rise from up there. It was a success! (You probably can't do that anymore due to security reasons.)
