About Me
Hi! We are adventurous couples from Poland enjoying travelling, meeting interesting people and getting to know new cultures and languages. I'm running this profile together with my girlfriend Magda. We have just joined the couch-surfers' community to experience that what we love the most to the fullest. We are about to finish our over 1,5 year long journey across both Americas starting at the southernmost point in South America to Alaska. We used to camp a lot or travel by car asking local communities if we can spent some time around them making ourself closer to residents and very often making friends, with whom we are staying in touch on regular basis. Another reasons we are travelling a lot is to experience different species of birds (Daniel is a bird and bat expert) and their homes, which are not common for Polish landscapes. One of our passion is renewable energy so we are working right now on our own project to build energy-efficient home in our country. Other than that we are huge food lovers and we really enjoy testing food all around the world, which is a great opportunity not only to discover new flavours, colours, smells and taste of a regional meal but also to find a way to local people, their day-to-day life and struggles. We are looking for places, where local people are enjoying their meals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We decided to join couch surfing community to get closer to local flavours of the places we're visiting. Local people has always the best knowledge about the life of the place they are living in than any travel guide ever will gain. Sharing with us their experiences will help us to understand places we are heading to and we are willing to involve ourself in projects, which may improve the life of the community. Contact with local people, learning about them, their local life and perspective means a lot to us. We would love to connect with people who have fantastic travel stories of their own, who can inspire us to head somewhere we’d never considered before.

We are metal - and rock heads. Our necessity of heart is attending every single year our favourite metal festival happening in Czech Republic in Josefov fortress.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- over 1,5 year long road trip across both Americas with our van, which we prepared for the journey by ourselves
- living 3 months in the middle of Peruvian jungle
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm very happy to share my knowledge I gained so far about building energy-efficient houses and show how you can help the environment in your everyday life. It is also a great opportunity to improve foreign language skills on both sides: guests and hosts.
We are happy to share our experiences from our journeys and give some tips about long budget travels.
