Hi! I am Lara, a 22 year old journalist & philosophy student from the Netherlands. Just graduated from by bachelor’s degree, I currently have some time to explore Europe – go around different places, enjoying the nature and exploring the culture.

I live in Utrecht, a very beautiful and kind city in the middle of the Netherlands, but I’ve also lived in Finland before and I've always traveled a lot through Europe. I like to meet new people – genuinely interested in the stories they’ve got to tell and just open to learn from them. Happy to explore new cultures, go to museums, take long hikes in the forests, have picknicks in the park, read, write and cook.

When I don't travel, I currently work at many different jobs in the journalistic & cultural field. Besides, I am also an active dancer and have a busy social live.

Although I might not be able to accept many coach surfers, I can obviously advise you on some of the best spots in Utrecht, Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands. Would be happy to share my ideas with you!

I am a social person, easygoing and always open to meet new people. Fine with being on my own, but also happy to spend some time together and just talk, explore the city and relax. Besides that, I really enjoy cooking and would be happy to cook some of my favorite meals with you – or learn some of your cooking specialties :-)
