Hi!
I am Peruvian living in the US and studying a master in Biology. I love frogs and snakes and thank them I am here doing research and traveling around. I live with a pretty Princess, her name is Bianka, a very cute samoyed-Siberian husky, cutie pie, furry ball. I enjoy adventures in the jungle and concrete jungle too. I am very passionate about photography, especially wildlife photography and sunsets, moonrise, and stars photos.
I prefer Spanish when deep talkings start. Me gusta sonreirle a la vida y expresar la intesidad de mis emociones en todo momento. Las personas se quedan en mi y se llevan un poquito de mi, cada que puedo hacerlas sonreir y viceversa. Me encanta mi pais y donde voy no me canso de hablar de lo maravilloso que es ser Peruana. Mi comida, mis bosques, mis montañas, mi gente, ese calor que Peru ofrece a todo visitante y lo hace sentir como en casa. Me encantan las conversaciones largas, los cuentos populares y debates amistosos de infinidad de temas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on summer vacations so I will take advantage and travel around the US. I am a graduate student then it should be obvious that saving money is my lifestyle. Then, I want to enjoy this adventure of meeting people, taking photos, eating delicious and learning US culture without spending too much money.

I listen to a wide variety of music, from regaeton, bachata, salsa , cumbia, pop to rock, gothic and jazz.
My favorites books are many but "Pride and Prejudice" and "The invention of nature" are pretty good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bathed in a lake surrounded by caimans and pirañas for 2 months.
I ate suri (the larvae of a weevil) in a native community in the Peruvian jungle.
I did tree climbing searching for tiny frogs.
