Hi, krishna here. I am an engineer by academics and an artist by passion. I consider things at ease and life to be simple.
Growing up listening to my grandma's stories, I developed a liking for story telling. You can hence find me excitedly sharing stories of travel and experiences in my life. But that doesn't make me a full-out extrovert. Loves to introspect and share thoughts on the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe we as humans are meant to live and let live. Sharing space is a characteristic we seem to lose. People are starting to seek more of 'I' than 'we', forgetting without 'we' there ain't any 'I'. I hope Couchsurfing is a platform that I can use to find people who still believe in sharing space, stories and build memories to cherish for ever. What else are we anyhow meant to do?

Interests

Loves to sing, explore different music and learn about instruments.I am a curious learner( on anything and everything), expect me to shoot questions and that tugs me into conversations. You can find me doing a bit of many things-perk of being a generalist. Cooking south indian food and experimenting with spices excites me. Nature is my buddy and can spend hours in its lap.
I can be a help for a few hard skills - carpentry, gardening, construction. Anything on the creative side and I am in.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I listen to all types of music. Lately I listen to more folk, sufi, qawwali, carnatic, melodies and instrumentals.
Books - the fountain head-ayn rand, Shiva trilogy, short stories of padmarajan can be picked among the few that I have read. I like the dan brown way of storytelling. This year I am looking forward to reading more from indian authors.
Movies- I watch few movies and that too would be picked on some aspects. Hence it's hard to pick on favs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen Frozen waterfall, the one which you would have seen in cartoons, comics or fairy tales. Not able to put it in words, but can share a wonderful story on that experience.

Curious learner and I hence can share whatever knowledge I have on anything that I do.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help you around the house or outside. Let it be cleaning the space, running for groceries or some maintenance work, cooking , gardening etc count me in. I love to take care of old people. So in case the elderly at home needs a company I can be. I would like to be considered as a family member and expect me to do the same. So whatever is of need in the family becomes my responsibility.
