I am a graduate student at a University in California in Biological Sciences, with a thesis on cyanobacteria and its genetic mechanisms of development. When I am not in the lab, I love travelling to places I have never been to before and exploring the places and cultures of those places. I also love parks, beer, going to football matches, art galleries, and driving through forests and along the ocean.

Although I now live in USA for school, I am Mexican and I was raised in Mexican culture. Although I enjoy my own culture, I love exploring other cultures, and getting to know people from different regions and countries. The diversity of the world fascinates me. And I'd also love to share my own culture, food and language in exchange for yours. I love helping people who are learning Spanish, and if you are learning Spanish, I'll happily practise with you. I know some French, although still improving, and I'm learning German. I would like to practise and improve my French.

I don't generally plan ahead, so I'm pretty flexible. I also love photography and cats.
