I am a university student travelling around Europe to get to know new people and cultures and to broaden my horizons. Due to my multicultural background (I am Brazilian, French and German), I have a natural curiosity for new experiences and cultures.

Currently, I am on my year abroad in Bratislava, Slovakia, where I am doing an internship. Last semester I did my Erasmus semester in Valencia, Spain, where I had a chance to sharpen my Spanish skills to near fluency.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My interest in travelling and meeting new people brought me here. Staying in hotels or Airbnbs is somewhat isolating, in my opinion. I am the kind of person that likes to get a proper feel for the city I am visiting and the way to do that is to live like a local even if it is just for a few days.

I enjoy lots of different types of music. I'm not the biggest fan of hard rock but I am always open to trying new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done was to choose to study in a foreign country. This opened the door for me to learn new languages and live in different countries. It pushed me outside of my comfort zone and it was the greatest decision I have made.

I would love to share my stories and my language skills with others. If you would like to practice languages with me, I'd be glad to speak with you. I would very much appreciate learning a few words of the native tongue of the country I visit.
