I’m Katrine, i’m 21 years old and from Denmark. This summer I am going to explore Japan with my friend Emma for one month.
We are traveling together and we're looking forward to meet new, exciting and local people during our journey.

About me:
I love playing music. I play the piano, and a bit guitar and ukulele. And I love singing. I write my own songs, which I enjoy a lot, and sometimes I play concerts at small places.
In fact, I love writing in general. It can be diary, thoughts, poems and lyrics for songs, anything.

Last winter I opened my eyes for the yoga and meditation world. I took classes in personal development. It has been an exciting journey, and to work with yourself is the greatest gift you can give yourself.

The last 8 months, I've been working at a kindergarten, where I have been taking care of children.
Now I'm ending my job there, so I can go on a theatre-course for 6 months this autumn. I'm really looking forward to it. I like to challenge myself and develop me.

I find myself as a respectful, easygoing, smiling and caring person, and I want to explore the world and all the lovely people out there!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the concept, and I think it is a nice way to meet new people, challenge myself and learn more about life by meeting new people.

Last summer I was interrailling through Europe on my own, which was my first trip on my own. It was amazing. And I met so many nice people. I still talk to some of them, and I'm so happy that I did it.
That's why I'm couchsurfing again, because I think it's a great opportunity to meet local people, and experience things, you wouldn't have if you were staying at a hostel, hotel, whatever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have played on a danish festival called SPOT-festival for upcomming artists.

I was interrailing last summer on my own for one month. For me it one of the biggest challenges I could give myself (in that moment) And that's why it's so amazing that I did it!

I can cook you a nice meal aswell. There's a lot of things.
