Overview
About Me
Currently living on Seattle. I don't have a couch, and thus can't really host anyone properly, but if you find yourself without a host, send me a message and we'll try to figure something out !
If you need advices about places to see in Paris, hit me up ! I'll be back in Paris in september, can't wait to see my City again, but in the same time really sad to leave the magnificent Seattle.
I love meeting new people, having new experiences and discovering new points of view. I try to have an open mind and to always be curious : the world is so full of things we'll never know, we should at least discover as many as possible !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have met wonderful people on CS, and I love to use it. This is a place of share, kindness and happiness, which I feel is rare in today's world. Couchsurfing is a great way to travel by meeting people I'd never would have had the opportunity to talk to otherwise.
Interests
I'm interested in anything, and always willing to learn. One of my main hobbies is photography, and this has taught me all the interest of storytelling, which made me even more passionate about learning about people and their stories. Apart from that, I love litterature, writing, debating, and I try to learn more about cinema (I'm a little weak on this area). I do documentaries and I love creative thinking.
Music, Movies, and Books
If anyone should read any French books, here is my top 3, not the books that I have loved the most, but those that I feel can help one filling his inner void :
- La délicatesse, David Foenkinos (sadly not available in English)
- Froth on the Daydream, Boris Vian (or The Red Grass, wonderful surrealist litterature)
- Nadja from André Breton (Yep, I do love surrealism in litterature, an underated genre)
Any poetry by Baudelaire also, and in spanish definitly Pablo Neruda. Ozymandias by Shelley is my favorite English language poem, short and striking. Read it, it has things to teach !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Being an English teacher in Thailand for 3 month
- Travelling through Europe on my own for 2 month to produce a documentary on european local currencies.
My next big adventure will be this summer, I'll spend 2 month in Borneo shooting a documentary on deforestation.
