About Me

I'm a student from Warsaw who loves travelling - like everybody on this website ;-) I used to study Cultural Studies and it was a very interesting course, where I've learned Russian, German and a lot of cultural and historical stuff. Now I'm studying International Relations because I think that it's important to look beyond borders and understand the world with its connections, that link us all.
I have a twin sister who always travels with me - best sis ever! We share all our passions and where she goes - I go as well. What else? I've always dreamt about having a dog, fish, cat, turtle... but my parents never agreed, so if you have a friendly cat or dog, be ready that I'll pet them every day smiling like a crazy person ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to get to know local culture from the inside, not the outside like I usually do.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock music - the Beatles, Muse, Nirvana, Green Day, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys and many more. That's why I always look forward to some concerts ;-) When it comes to movies, I like watching not only new ones, but also classics like Scarface or Some Like it Hot. I also watched a lot of action movies as a kid ;-)
Choosing one favourite book is so hard! I'm Agatha Christe fan, she's the best. I also like modern Russian literature, that many people haven't really heard about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped to organise AIESEC project for foreigners that came to Poland to teach children in kindergardens about their culture. It was a hard work, but very satisfying and exciting! I've met students from Georgia, Chile, Brazil... Guiding them around Warsaw, showing them our landmarks, bars and cuisine was a great experience that I'll never forget. What was even more moving was to watch them getting from experiencing cultural shock to loving Poland - what a journey!

Teach, Learn, Share

Speaking English for hours is what I need ;-) Maybe You can teach me slang words that you often use? Or take me to some nice place where I could taste local food (I'm a food lover, that's for sure ;-))?
I can share my memories, experience and thoughts with You. You don't know much about Poland and its history? I can be a guide for You through Poland's difficult past.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can talk about popculture for hours - movies, Marvel, DC, TV series... You choose! I've also been in many European countries so if you need some tips or don't know if Lithuania is a place worth seeing - I'm ready to answer any question ;-)
I'm a bookworm who can recommend a lot of books and have a long-lasting conversation about them.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Russian Federation, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine
