I left home to work in the UK for the purpose of travelling. Being a solo traveller most of the time, hostels can be a bit overwhelming and Airbnbs too lonely. Couchsurfing seems like a great opportunity to meet like minded people, explore a new city, hang out where the locals go and make new friends :)
