About Me
Hey there! A friend recommended couchsurfing to me and so far, it's fantastic. I love meeting new and interesting people, swapping stories and making new friends.
I work in a library, am a total bookworm and have heaps more hobbies besides.
I live in Dublin but also spend a lot of time in Galway and am studying part-time in Aberystwyth, West Wales, a beautiful spot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a curious soul and want to meet some cool characters and hear some great stories. Fascinated by culture and I just love meeting people from different places and learning from them.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music wise, love blues, rock, bit of dance, bit of jazz, classical and funk.
Fave movies include Midnight in Paris and practically anything by Woody Allen, bar Zelig :), Lost in Translation, Peaceful Warrior, The Remains of the Day, About Schmidt, Taxi Driver, Wuthering Heights, Dead Poet's Society, Dances With Wolves, Carnage, Shadowlands....and loads more :D
Guilty pleasure is watching Historical Reality shows, am definitely a bit of a nerd that way. On the upside, ask me anything about history here, where to visit etc and I'll have plenty of info for you.
Book wise, love anything by George Orwell, Ernest Hemingway, Iris Murdoch, Michael Cunningham. But fave book would be The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle and I do love my non-fiction for sure.
I'm a big rugby fan, Connacht abú! :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Have turned a hell of a lot of life experiences into lessons and used them to learn and grow.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can speak fluent Irish (Gaeilge) and also teach English. I'm pretty skilled at meditation and spiritual development. I've studied Sociology, Politics, Law, Gender Studies, Teaching English as a Foreign Language and am just beginning a Masters in Archives Administration.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a fairly decent cook, can recommend books, have a good chat on many a topic...
