I am an artist from Madison, Wisconsin and I attend the University of Wisconsin through and Urban Arts and Poetry program called First Wave. I’ve been creating and in the arts for as long as I can remember, singing, dancing, performing, making music, and writing. It’s how I got into college, my program pays for my tuition because of my art endeavors which is amazing. I see myself as a very outgoing, joyful, and just going with the flow type person. The arts have made my life an incredible journey

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I’m dancing in LA through a scholarship I received while dancing in Chicago and I’m just trying to train as much as I can while making it affordable. Also I’m a very social person who loves meeting new people and making new friends anywhere I go. So this seems like the perfect opportunity to try that out.

Intereses

Dance, Singing, poetry, making music, guitar. Honestly anything related to the arts because that has been my entire life. I also love watching under the radar movies with my little sister and analyzing them after watching and hearing her personal reviews. And I feel spiritually connected to nature. Doesn’t always need to extravagant like a waterfall, sometimes there’s just as much beauty and understanding in a walk through the woods or coming closer to peace in the intricate simplicity of a sunset or sunrise.

Michael Jackson is one of my favorites, but also R&B, Soul, and Jazz in general. I grew up on Motown, Afro-Cuban, Neo-Soul and I’m just in love with Music that speaks to me. Music that gets me through the best times and my hardest hours. Donny Hathaway sings a river to my soul.

I hiked down to a village into a volcano crater in Ecuador and spent the night there with my family.

I ziplined from a cliff over a deep river in the mountains (I put two things cause why not)

“One day I want to do that” doesn’t have to be one day. Our limits are the very doubts we set for ourselves on a daily basis. The moments you grow the most are the moments you are uncomfortable. Never settle for complacency, it was calculated persistence that created the Greats.

I’m a very helpful person so I can help with cleaning around the house, doing dishes, help cook, and if needed go get some groceries in order to help with any needed ingredients.
