Hey there! My name is Aron, 25 years old and from the Netherlands. I currently work as a journalist at a newspaper in the northern region of the Netherlands. In my spare I love to work on some writing and video projects, drinking alcoholic beverages with friends and hanging out.

I'd love to learn about other cultures and fun things to do in a local area. Couchsurfing seems an ideal place to get to know local people and discover foreign places.
I also like to to travel alone, but I love meeting new people. CS is just such a good way to combine these two things.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

To choose from a favorite music, movie or book is so hard! I have a pretty broad taste in music and I listen to everything from Hiphop to Americana. I think I can't choose a favourite band, as this varies almost every month. At the moment I listen a lot to lo-fi/shoegaze rock.

My favourite director is hands down David Lynch. I absolutely love the series Twin Peaks and his movies are also very good. There is no one like him who manages to create such a surreal and haunting setting.

My favourite book is one I've read recently: The Music of Chance by Paul Auster. I also am a huge Harry Potter fan and I've read the books at least fifteen times, if it isn't more!

I went wildcamping in Sweden and I ended up near a lake where a Moose would take his bath as well. That was pretty awesome.
