Overview
About Me
I teach mechanics at an engineering school in Toulouse.
I love travelling, meeting new people and sharing their culture.
I mostly travel with my husband Kévin, who works as a software engineer.
He is a bit shyer than I am but enjoys exploring new places and getting to know about people's stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the past few years, I have been using Aribnb to travel and I was disappointed to find that most hosts don’t interact with their guests aside from check-in and check-out. I love to meet people who are keen on sharing stories and introducing the local culture, which is the main reason I’m on couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy reading Sci-fi and fantasy novels (Adams, Pratchett, Asimov, Fforde, Pullman).
I recently discovered Chinese fantasy and light novels, which I love as I find that the cultural differences emerge between the lines.
I learned music as a child and I listen to a lot of instrumental music (Shostakovich, Saint Saens, Ennio Morricone) as well as popular music (Muse, Depeche mode, Queen, Stromae, Ed Sheeran).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting invited to a wedding in Sicily, living in a rural village in Burkina Faso.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m a food enthusiast on a quest to try all the good food in the world.
I enjoy cooking for other people and sharing recipes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd be happy to teach a bit of French and to talk about my research subject (hybrid vehicles).
Kevin and I would gladly share stories of our travels and advice on places to visit in Toulouse.
