My name is Oli, I'm a 23-year-old german living in Innsbruck, Austria and I'm currently studying IT. In my free time I like to slackline, be it above water, over the ground or in the mountains. Also I like hiking in the mountains, biking and skitouring (with a snowboard). Slacklining in particular has led me to amazing places all over europe and sparked my desire to travel.
I would describe myself as a more introverted person, but once I get to know you a bit, I'm open for all kinds of discussions!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through my roommate we had couchsurfers in our flat, which has introduced me to couchsurfing. I then went on a Russia trip with my girlfriend, where I got to experience the incredible hospitality of other hosts.

Interests

I love electronic music, but playing the classical guitar as well. I like slacklining, ski touring (with a snowboard), biking, hiking and generally being on mountains or in the nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Used to be about rock and metal, these days mostly electronic:
Mira, Chris Schwarzwälder, NU, Rampue, Rey&Kjavik, Kotelett&Zadak, and more in this direction
Movies: Not much of a movies guy, but I do enjoy some of the more head-scratching movies (Memento and the like), as long as they're consistent and not just random.
Books: Used to like fantasy, now everything that can teach me something, if it's a philosophy, history or some new view on life. But the most time is probably spend on reading the weekly newspaper 'Die Zeit'.
