Hi! I'm traveling with my son very soon. A friend of mine told me about couchsurfers, so I thought I'd give it a try. I've been a professional opera singer for much of my life and now train dogs, am a 'Dog Whisperer'.
My family is eclectic, dad retired pathologist who plays bluegrass. Mom is a busy body, an educator mover and shaker who plays harpsichord, jazz piano and classical, who raised myself and my brother, and who chips in with my son when I'm busy with work. My son loves history, my sister-in-law is Japanese, and my friends from all over. I traveled quite a bit for my work. I love animals and showed and jumped horses when I was a young girl. I love wonderful simple food, nature, and a really great pot of hot black tea with milk.

Save some money and meet great people hopefully! I always love getting to know a city from a more residential perspective, and my favorite vacations are studying a language while living in another town/country.
