Hi there, my name is Johannes and I’m 26 years old.
I grow up with my parents and my sister in very cosy city in the northern part of Germany.
After I finished my high school, I started an apprenticeship as a carpenter for three years. During my apprenticeship I did a couple of exchange programs to get to know other countries and their way to build houses in my profession. So I went to Estonia and to France for a couple of weeks.
When I successfully finished my apprenticeship I decided to do an work and travel year in Australia.
In this time I met so many interesting peoples and made so good contact that I decided to take the chance and go for another travelling year.
Right now I’m in Maine in the United States visiting a good friend I stayed with, couple of years a go wich I also met on Couchsurfing. I’m planing to go a bit more south and then across the country towards San Francisco, where I gonna take a plan to New Zealand beginning of December.
I’m looking forward to get in touch with interesting peoples and have good conversation and get a view in other lives and their culture.

I’m an open minded human being which likes to meet other persons and I’m convinced that getting in touch with locals is always the most authentic way to get to know city’s and their citizens, so for me Couchsurfing is the best way to combine travelling and learning about the place I stay.

To be honest, im not that movie guy. When I’ve other options to choose I prefers to meet peoples and discover new things.
I regulary reading the newspaper and got to know what’s going on in this beautiful but at the same time crazy world.

Musik is my thing! I started classical singing and playing the trumpet when I was six years old. After a couple of years I had to decide to put focus on one thing and i stoped playing the trumpet. I kept on singing and joined different choirs and ensembles, till now.
I know a lot about classical Musik and started to getting more into other genres aswell. Of course I heard other music aswell befor but now I’m getting even more into the Theorie of all the other genres.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

During my year in Australia I made so many wonderful experiences that it’s hard to tell. What always pops up in my mind is the thing that I got the chance to sing the messiah from Handel in the Sydney Opera house a couple of times in 2019.
What also has to stay in this section is the my time on a huge solar farm in the norther territory in Australia, where I worked nearly 65 hours per week in the hardest conditions in an Australian desert with up to 46 degrees.
