Hi! I'm Luis. I'm from Brazil, but currently living in the Basque Country, where I'm studying Culinary Arts.
I left my home almost 4 years ago, mainly out of curiosity - I wanted to see the world beyond the borders of my own country. I have been traveling since then, and living in other countries like Russia and Spain.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I am very passionate about other people's cultures, histories and languages, and I'm sure the best way to experience it is getting to meet people in the places where they live

Interests

My main interest is gastronomy - what, how and when people eat, as well as any other food-related issue. I spend most of my time thinking, reading and writing about it, and I've been doing stages in michelin stared restaurants, seeking to learn more about how food is transformed and how to produce more sustainable and delicious food.
