Hey Everyone! My name is Amir Arshia but you can call me Arsh. I was born and raised in Tehran. I received a Bachelor of English Translation from The Science Practical University of Tehran. My true passion lies in art and I constantly endeavor to live like an artist. I`m a poet, a singer-songwriter, a sound designer, a photographer-videographer, and a collage artist Nevertheless, I`ve been teaching the Persian language as a tutor on a website to making adequate income monthly but now I quit from my job and I intend to travel as a backpacker for along period of time. My passionate hobbies are listening to music, dancing, reading novels, short stories, and poems, watching movies, Japanese anime, and series, translating the lyrics of my favorite bands and singers into Persian, writing poems for my photos, writing lyrics for my new album it`s called "Maslax E Davvar" that it means "Revolving Slaughterhouse", taking photos from the abandoned places and houses or people and weird stuff, making analog and digital collage, I've been recording the sounds from everywhere then designing them by software based on a script that I`ve written before. I`ve been trying to learn something new every day cause it keeps me fresh and creative. I`m going to learn how to play guitar professionally too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to communicate with people because I can hear their stories then I can write about them in my poems and songs. my main purpose is finding new friends and live the moments beside them because I can learn a lot of things from them although I can share my knowledge with them about everything which I`ve experienced in my whole life.
