About Me

Hi, I’m Arsh — born and raised in Tehran, currently traveling across Iran to document authentic restaurant food and traditional cooking.
I’m a YouTuber and food storyteller focused on filming the real process of cooking in local and traditional restaurants. My goal is to travel to different cities in Iran, discover genuine flavors, and share the beauty of our food culture with a wider audience.
For me, food is more than a business or content — it’s heritage, memory, and identity.
In this period of my life, I’m also deeply interested in spiritual and inner growth. I spend time reading and reflecting, trying to live more consciously and simply. Traveling, meeting new people, and sitting at different tables helps me understand life from new perspectives.
I’m calm, respectful, clean, and independent. I don’t smoke, I respect house rules, and I truly appreciate the trust behind Couchsurfing. I travel with purpose — to create, to learn, and to connect.
If you host me, I’d be happy to cook something Persian for you, share stories from the restaurants I’ve visited, and bring positive energy into your home.
Let’s connect through food, culture, and meaningful conversations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the heart of every city lives inside its homes, not its hotels.
These days I’m traveling across Iran to film traditional restaurants and authentic local cooking for my YouTube journey. But for me, understanding a place is not only about the food — it’s about the people, their stories, their daily life, and the warmth of their homes.
I travel with purpose. I’m not just looking for accommodation. I’m looking for connection, shared meals, conversations over tea, and the chance to see Iran through real human experiences.
I deeply respect the trust behind Couchsurfing. Opening your home to someone is a big thing, and I don’t take that lightly. I try to be a calm, clean, and considerate guest who brings positive energy and gratitude.
If our paths cross, I hope we can share stories, culture, and maybe cook something together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling across Iran to document traditional restaurants and cooking, meeting amazing people along the way, and sharing their stories through my videos.

Teach, Learn, Share

Food is my biggest passion these days. I’m genuinely fascinated by traditional Iranian restaurants — not just the dishes, but the stories behind them, the rhythm of the kitchen, and the people who keep these flavors alive.
I love traveling to different cities, sitting with locals, drinking tea, and listening to their life experiences. Meaningful conversations inspire me a lot.
I’m also interested in spiritual growth and self-awareness. I try to live more consciously and keep learning something new every day.
Simple things make me happy — a warm kitchen, a good conversation, a walk in a new neighborhood, or discovering a small hidden restaurant with an amazing story.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook Persian food, share cultural stories, and exchange experiences. I also bring respect, calm energy, and gratitude into any home I stay in.
