Hi, I am Bilinç from Turkey. After 6 years of working in ngo( worked with kids and environmental issues) in Turkey, I just quitted my job at Greenpeace and bought a one way ticket. I have started to travel in South America since 16 August 2018 and I hope to stick around for at least a year. Here in this account I don’t seem to have many friends or references but I have been part of this community for more than 8 years. First person I met through couchsurfing was Luis, from Peru. He was the guest of my best friend Umut in İstanbul. Then after meeting us, he decided to live in İstanbul. After his trips, when he came back to İstanbul in 2015, he became my roommate and one of my best friends. He became an inspiration to me and now I left him in my country while visiting his lands:) I tell this story became Luis is the reason why I believe in couchsurfing. He and many more friends that I met here showed me how big is the world and also there is still lots of kindness in it. My account is fresh, because I never had a proper house to host people until I moved with Luis. And then he had the account and we hosted again very nice people. I believe in Karma and even if there is no reference here, the things I have done will bring me more goodness. I hope this fresh new page will be filled with lots of beautiful faces and stories.
