Overview
About Me
I'm a 23 years old french guy living in Paris. I love discovering the world and learning about it, especially through social sciences. After 5 years studying economics and sociology, I am now a PhD student in climate change economics at public university. Even though I'm a bookworm by profession, I enjoy going out, for bicycle rides or just walking arount the city, grabbing a beer near the Seine with some friends or eating Raclette at my place.
I do a lot of badminton, and I surf everytime I can afford some days off near the cost.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and learn new things everyday, discover new cultures, listen new music, and learn new things
Interests
Passionate about social science, but you already guessed that. Don't talk to me about any political matter, you won't be able to stop me.
I surf every summer for now 10 years, and that's maybe the only reason I dont' consider Paris as perfectly perfect.
Did 8 years of quite high level archery. I'm not killing any dears, and wont' travel with my bow, I promise. You can Google "Olympic archery" to see how it looks like. Modern archery might look more bad ass than Robin Hood's traditional outfits, but it's way more boring to look at, trust me.
I play guitar, or at least used to, but my fingers kind of remember some things from this time. But for God's sake, don't ask me to sing. I can't.
I listen to a lot of music, on a bit old-school vibe. Mainly Blues, Rock and Jazz, but like some versitality sometimes with Rap or Funk.
I suck at chess but for some reason I started playing every now and then with a good friend.

Music, Movies, and Books
Let's say Miles Davis, Rolling Stones, Jack White and Vulfpeck. Add Leonard Cohen and Odezenne. And thons of others from Bowie to Lou Reed. Seems like I usually prefer when the guys are dead.
I have a projector at home and an illimited cinema pass, so I do watch a lot of movies. My favorites from last year are Woman at War and The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.
For the books, it goes from Michel Houellebecq to Édouard Louis, not forgetting Annie Erneaux and Virginie Despentes as french authors. But I enjoy as well SF such as Damasio, Asimov or Jarrowski when I'm not reading sociology or economics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My most pleasant adventure was a 1 mounth interrail trip. On a more roots/sport vibe, I enjoy going for bike touring with some friends and a tent to just enjoy some time together.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can bore you out speaking about economics, prisons, police, politics, or pretty much anything. But I'm also a good listner and would love to hear about your country or experiences !
I enjoy cooking for others, and will probably do a vegetables curry with some coco milk, or asian vibe food.
What I Can Share with Hosts
French wine and cheese, of course !
