About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn as much as possible, always.
ABOUT ME
I usually enjoy the little things of life: a walk near the beach or nice city, a coffee with someone you have not seen for a while, a lunch with friends, an interesting talk about nothing, a good book in a quiet place.
From a practical point of view, I like science and currently, I devote my life to it. I finished my PhD in Neuroscience and now I work as a researcher at the University of Miami.
I love books and reading and everything related to. I used to work as a bookseller so I really appreciate a nice talk about books.
In my free time, I do yoga and scuba dive as a beginner but I like to continue learning and discovering.
I really enjoy hiking, flying visits to near areas and discover new places.
I love to explore cities afoot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just move to Miami and I want to meet people, know the city and discover places. I would be a pleasure to do it with local people as well as newcomers like me :)
Friends of mine have recommended me CS a lot. Since I have no previous experiences, I do not know what to expect from CS, but I hope I can meet funny and interesting people, which whom share activities, moments and experiences. So, hope to see you soon!

Music, Movies, and Books
This the most difficult part!
I like (almost) any song I can sing. (by the way, I love karaoke!) If you do not know them, try to listen to La Casa Azul (in Spanish). I think is the best group to cheer you up, ever.
Films..."The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" is one of my favourites: a complete way of seeing life. "Great expectations" (1998).
And if I have to recommend you a book, that would be "Castillos de cartón" from Almudena Grandes, "Open" from Andre Agassi (yes, the tennis player, but it surprised me as well as liked, even though I had no idea of tennis) and "Seda" from Alessandro Baricco, among many others that I just simply loved according to the moment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Survive a doctoral thesis.
Prepare a wedding in less than 2 months and that it became the best wedding ever (what can I say, it was our wedding with the best friends ever^^). And in the meantime, moved to another country.
Maybe those are silly things, but the last year just became the most incredible and craziest year of my life. I hope to live more silly things in the future.
Teach, Learn, Share
We should meet to see what we can teach, learn and share with each other. That is the worth part.
