I grew up in a small town in England, then stayed in a coastal city while I studied filmmaking.

I almost always have a camera with me and something to play a tune, whistles, Kalimba, concertina or guitar.

I make marionette puppets, to perform in the street for travel money, so I haven’t a penny to my name.

I like arts and crafts, excuse me if I am covered with paint and stickers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always bumbling about looking for new people. I've been a Workawayer and lived in an Abbey for a month. I hitchhiked from Lands End to John O'groats. I have no money and like new people. That’s why I’m here!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy reading classic fairy tales, sci-fi and also none fiction by similar authors for example Huxley.

I really enjoy people playing music together, of any kind. Folk and country are nice on the road, but I have a soft spot for rock and hip hop too.

It’s hard to choose one, life is so full of amazing things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can do quite a few crafts, bracelets, crochet, wire puzzles, paper cranes etc.

I make puppets, and perform with them!

I am an okay cook, can make cheap food into enough for lots of hungry mouths.

I am learning to speak French and I can play some musical instruments.

I enjoy reading together or doing art. I’m a photographer and filmmaker and happy to help however I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will wash up! And also read aloud to you/your kids if you like. I don’t think my reading aloud is too bad. I mess up words occasionally, but I try to give the voices a go. If it goes well you of course are owed a space on my couch. I think that the biggest gift a couch surfer gives is their story? I have my puppets with me always and am a photographer too.
