Hi!!! My name is Juan Manuel, but my friends call me Juanma and I´m a 21 yeards old and im a chef, from Cáceres a city in Extremadura.

My aim is learning how to make traditional foreing dishes and I love traveling.
I finished my degree two years ago and I have been cooking in different restaurants around different countries, learning Italian, English and a little bit of Philippine .

My passions are traveling, sports and learning as much as my brain can absorb :D

Im an active person who always want to discover and learn more things, I have been practicing sports during all my life (sine I have memory) Basketball, Handball and swimming mostly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im in couchsurfing because a friend recomend me it, (also some cousins too) because i usually travel alone. It´s a nice way of meeting people in the country im actually visiting, make new friends and share with them my experience in other countries and my knowledge of cooking too!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen to spanish pop-rock music or hip-hop, house, electronic, I dnt have an specific favourite type of music.
My favourite movies are " The Lord Of the Rings" the Trilogy, also historicals and comedies too
As books, "Africanus" the trilogy too, without doubt. However Im also inloved with "Memorias de Idhún" another fantasy trilogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think my greatest achivement was learning how to pilot an helicopter when i was 13. This introduced me to the world of travelling and flying.

Nahh, just kidding, my biggest achievement was learning how not to cut myself while cooking... (I have too many scars.. )
