I'm Laura, a Colombian girl raised in La Paz, Bolivia. Always between the two countries, I think my roots have shortened a little with time, and now I'd like to travel far!
I'm a graphic designer, starting to work with UX/UI, so I'm in constant research of all things user friendly, how we experience things and how we interact with technology and our everyday objects.
I have always loved drawing, so art will always be my biggest passion, so I try to find it in anything I do, everywhere I go and in anyone I meet. I love new stories, love new places and love nature as the most perfect work of art. Walking among trees, watching snow fall in a mountain, those are moments that will stick with me like a painting.
I always try to be very respectful with the places I stay, I'm vegetarian, sensitive, organized and calm.
Finally, I also have a weak spot for cats, wine and conversation haha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm taking my first backpacking trip to Europe, hopefully one of many! And besides nature and beautiful cities I want to experience the way people live, how they have fun, connect and experience their country.
I want to visit many places and leave with many friends to remember.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock, pop and blues, but I also like a little sad salsa lol, teach how me to dance... I still have hope.
I love horror films, good or terrible, thriller and mystery, but also dumb comedy! My biggest fandom is the Hannibal series, films, books and tv shows.
I'm a sucker for horror/thriller novels so authors like Karin Slaughter, Joe Hill and master Stephen King are my go to... But Harry Potter will be my fav book, ALWAYS.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went alone on a 52 km of downhill in Death Road Bolivia, fell, survived and finished.
