Sou uma professora de inglês que ama viajar. Aprendi com meu pai, mas hoje meu companheiro de viagens é meu marido. No entanto, amo fazer algumas viagens sozinha também. Gosto de viagens improvisadas, sem roteiro definido, pra poder ter experiencia com as pessoas por onde passar. Até agora, pouco a pouco, já conheci a América latina do México até Argentina, fora minhas viagens pelo Brasil, meu lugar favorito nesse mundo todo.

I'm an English Language Teacher who loves to travel. I've learned to love travelling from my father, but nowadays my travel partner is my husband. However, I love travelling by myself as well. I like spontaneous trips. No script or pre-planned itineraries, so we may have encounters with people wherever we pass by. So far, little by little, I have visited Latin America from Mexico to Argentina. Not to mention my trips in Brasil, my own country and favorite place on Earth. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

A primeira vez que ouvi falar sobre couchsurfing foi em 2012. Desde então tenho tido vontade de me juntar à comunidade mas nunca tive muito tempo para me dedicar. Hoje quer fazer esse tempo acontecer.

The first time I heard of Couchsurfing was in 2012. Since then I've been flerting with the idea of joining the community. However, I have never had time to actually get involved. Now I've decided I want to make it happen.

Eu amo samba e musica brasileira em geral. Não tenho muito conhecimento e formação em musica estrangeira, o que é bem vergonhoso considerando que sou professora de inglês.
Agora quanto a livros e filmes é mais fácil. Como estudei literatura todo assunto sobre livros e cultura me interessa. Meu trabalho no mestrado foi sobre Literatura de Viagem, juntando duas coisas que amo.

I love samba and Brazilian music in general. I'm not too acquainted to foreign musica, which is a bit embarrassing considering that I'm an English Language Teacher. But I've been working on that and I quite now the most famous singers and bands (although they continue not to be my favorite).
Now when it comes to books and movies it's easier. Since I studied Literature, any conversation about books and culture interests me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Pra mim o incrível é viver o cotidiano. Citando o grande bardo cearense Belchior: "meu delírio é a experiência com coisas reais."

To me the most incredible is to live the daily life. Quoting a Brazilian songwriter, Belchior: the experience with actual things is what gets me high. (of course it sounds much more poetic in Portuguese. sorry!)

Honestamente não tenho habilidades excepcionais na cozinha ou na faxina, mas obviamente sei contribuir com nesse quesito mesmo não sendo talentosa.
Acredito que o que posso oferecer de melhor é a troca de experiencia cultural. Gosto muito de conversar sobre historia e cultura do meus país e ouvir também. Gosto de apresentar meu país.

To be honest I don't actually have exceptional habilities at the kitchen or cleaning, but I can obviously contribute to make it happen, even not being very much skilled.
I believe What I can offer is the cultural exchange experience. I enjoy very much to talk about my country's history and culture, as well as to listen to others'. I like to introduce and represent my country (and city).
