Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of meeting new people and sharing time and experiences together. It's still my first time on Couchsurfing so I don't have any references yet but the idea of sharing the house with someone who lives in the city and knows it very well sounds to me like the most genuine way to understand culture and habits of the place you're visiting. Then I guess that if the profiles really match one can have a wonderful experience and make new friends.
