Overview
About Me
I'm a 35 year old frenchman, whose job is to teach French as a foreign language.
I have been living and teaching in South Korea and China for about 5 years, and I've been back to France for six months, settling down in Lyon, where I lived as a student.
Hence I know the city quite well, and can share that knowledge with travelers who come here :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been doing some travelling, mostly in Asia, and I like to know about people from all paths in life. I like to think everyone has a great story to share.
Since I have been welcomed so many times abroad by nice locals, I'm on couchsurfing to return the favor and help travellers in Lyon to have a memorable time here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being on a country, slow train for 36 hours in Xinjiang (the most western province in China, borders Pakistan), on hard seats, with no beds.
People were even sleeping on the floor, and I thought I would never see the end of that travel.
Quite a painful experience at that time, but when I think about it now, I'm full of nostalgia : every passengers talking to each other loudly, drinking, smoking, sharing meals, women doing traditionnal dances on the aisles.. That was one of my most memorable travelling experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
