Overview
About Me
Hello, I'm Floortje (you can call me Flora, Flor/Floor whatever you want). I just finished my internship at SEKEM in Egypt and am now interrailig from Greece back to the Netherlands. During my travels I am very much looking forward to meeting you! I have my sleeping bag and pillow in my backpack so I don't need much. Just some cultural/social/anything exchange and something soft to sleep on would be great.
I have a educational background in Global Sustainability Science and some travel experience in South-America and Norway.
I love to be outside, in nature, get inspired by new people, do spontaneous activities, make music, dance, just talk and have fun!
(P.s. I'm vegetarian)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It inspires me to meet locals, see how they organize their lives and we can share worldviews, stories and much more. This is a way to see the richness of the world. Besides I think it is super fun to meet 'random' people and have fun togheter!
Interests
I'm actually often quite busy with all my interests. I almost never feel bored. Beside sailing, dancing, guitar playing etcetera, I really like to be in company of other people, having good conversations, laugh and search for adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like different kinds of music, but if it makes you want to dance, it's always good!
I do not watch films that often because I need my time for other activities, but two movies that I like particularly are 'The theory of everything' and 'Lion'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not only playing the guitar, but I built a little one myself. It was half a school project, but most things I did at home. My father could help me sometimes, since he's a carpenter, and I had contact with a real guitar constructor. Actually I didn't believe I would finish it with success, but I did. You can see it at one of my pictures!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cosy and joyfull moments together and maybe a little bit of Dutch culture.
