Overview
About Me
My name is Ruth and welcome to my profile! I am a dutch student currently living and studying in Rotterdam. My studies keep me quite busy these days, but I try to fit in some world exploring when I can :) i have traveled a bit in Asia, and when I was there I realised that I don’t have to get on a 20 hour flight to feel free (Europe is a big place too, relatively).
UPDATE (old)
At the moment I am on my first ever hitchhiking trip together with a very study friend of mine. We are trying to get to Marseille, and from there we will see where the wind takes us! Or the kind amazing people taking us with :)
UPDATE (new)
Again, I have found myself in Marseille, running away for university stress. Previous trip left me full of joy so I could not help but find my way here again :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Oooh, well, couch surfing brings everybody closer together and I think this is very important (especially when travelling and getting out of the comfortzone). It gives me freedom to go on adventure and to be a part in other peoples adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books
The lion king will forever have special place in my heart. But Blade runner gets a close second. My music taste is all over the place, the Doors and Johnny cash, Ali farka Toure, brian eno, joy division, moderat, and all the good stuff in between.
